FAQs

These are questions I get most often from those inquiring about a session with me. Hopefully this answers your questions, but if you have any additional, please don’t hesitate to contact me!

  • Lifestyle photography is photography that captures your family, your people, in a natural, or unposed way. Now I definitely do pose when necessary or when desired because sometimes, you do want just one of everyone looking at the camera and that is okay. But my “niche” is definitely in the unposed.

I like to describe being a lifestyle photographer as being like a fly on the wall. I love to set the scene for families and couples, or give them little prompts throughout our session and then I stand back and capture it.

As a mom, I’ve found that I cherish the candid, unposed photos a lot more than the sit-still and smile ones. It evokes so much more emotion because I’m not just looking at a picture, I’m looking at a memory.

  • It kind of depends on what/who you are wanting photographed. If you are a family and have young kids, I usually suggest to go with the longer session so that you have plenty of time and won’t feel rushed to get pictures, especially with squirmy and sometimes stubborn toddlers (speaking from my own mama experience here). You know your family best!

Couples, families with older kids, senior portraits, and headshots: Unless you have a lot of outfit changes, I usually suggest the shorter sessions for y’all.

Extended family and larger group sessions, please note that those require the longer session due to the group size and the larger amount of images taken.

  • It depends on the session you choose. The Classic Session (shorter 30 minute one) includes 15 images with the option to purchase more on an online gallery.

All of my other sessions include digital images in the entire online gallery at no additional charge.

There is a lot that goes into the way I price my sessions. And I’ve really tried to keep things simple and not overcomplicate things with additional fees and charges for galleries and images and prints, and digitals and so on. This is so that you don’t have any surprises when you have your photos done and you know exactly what to expect and the high quality you will receive from the time during the session to the delivered gallery.

  • I do not. You will receive a print release which will allow you to print your photos at a lab of your choosing (If you are looking for a lab, I recommend and personally use Mpix).

  • Check out my free Style Guide for some suggestions and tips of what to/not to wear.

  • You will receive location options from me based on the vibe you’re going for or the type of location you like the most (most are in the Central FL area).

I primarily shoot outdoors at golden hour or when the sun is lower in the sky. I also shoot indoors for newborn sessions as well as occasional studio sessions.
A travel fee will be assessed for travel over 25 miles.

  • No.

All of the images I deliver are hand edited consistent with my style and work. All images are uploaded when complete in JPG format. If you want raw/unedited images, sorry, I am not your girl!

  • I do occasionally depending on my availability as well as interest or a specific location’s offerings. When I do them, I send them out to my email listers first. So get on that list if you are interested! :)

  • I do not photograph weddings at this time.
